After analyzing many clients and their needs, I have come to a somewhat surprising conclusion: everyone wants the same thing! Now, this definitely does not mean that everyone has the same problems. Different clients portray different needs depending on their issues, but guess what? There’s a defined list of solutions that usually work out for most people.

Now, before we go ahead and explore this one-thing-fits-all solution to the problems posed by people, it is vital to understand the issues themselves first! A large number of clients that I have are business owners looking to find solutions to a wide range of problems. Some might want a roadmap to drive sales, while others suggest finding the perfect balance between work and life. Another big pool of clients comes to find solutions related to their relationships. Others are there generally to seek help with managing stress, career transitions, improving communication skills and gaining confidence in every phase of life!

While these problems may seem very different, we must understand the sole essence behind seeking success with any problem: achieving happiness. Most people don’t realize that all they want is simply to be heard, to be valued and content with what they do and to live a life that keeps them happy.

Can this be done? Absolutely! Once a person finds happiness, most challenges are not seen as challenges, but as tasks, a person is set to achieve. If not joy, a simple change in mindset can quickly avert half of their problems!

A business owner might not see stagnant or low profits as a reflection of his abilities, but rather as a tool he can leverage to understand the problems that arise, allowing him to make better decisions in the future!

A person who has recently transitioned to a new career and is finding it hard to settle might not take learning new skills as a burden but as a learning opportunity that will help him land more money and, in turn, more happiness in the future!

The list will go on, describing changes happiness brings to address problems. What’s worth noting here is how we all are inter-connected with even the most unusual things: problems. Our issues help us understand our surroundings; they help us know each other and our stories, so we treat each other the way we deserve to be treated. After all, we’re really more alike than different. Isn’t that great?
