What I learned while on vacation
Now that I’m 4/5ths the way through my holiday time I can (again) confirm that we over-plan, over-list, and create unattainable ‘things to do’ agendas. Gosh, for my trip I planned to do more work than I do from my office! How insane is that? Hint…pretty insane…

We get our news 24/7 on youtube, our business is accessible on Facebook pages (does anyone even visit websites any longer?). And the tools we use to deliver our services are mutating so fast we can watch the changes in real time.

I’ve decided to cut a few “shoulds” out of my conversations with myself. We all know, deep down, what we “should” do. But unless that list was given to you by your doctor treating a life-threatening condition it may be okay to put the list aside for a bit. It’ll still be there when you feel ready to face it.
